The title of the talk was “Holistic Planning Execution & Network @HITI”. The talk addressed the growing complexity of holistic supply chain planning and the limitations of traditional planning approaches in today’s dynamic business environment. Ms. Herbe and Mr. Jutz illustrated how Hilti is responding to these challenges through the transformation of its supply chain planning systems and processes, with a particular focus on its IT planning software landscape and the role of advanced planning systems (APS).
The talk further outlined the practitioner’s perspective on selecting a suitable APS, highlighting key assessment criteria, evaluation steps, and organizational considerations involved in such a strategic technology decision.
