Wirth Alumni Network (WAN)

The Wirth Alumni Network (WAN) is a network of scholars of mostly, but not exclusively, former doctoral scholars at the University of Alberta’s Wirth Institute for Austrian and Central European Studies. WAN recognizes the need for the development of an active and responsive networking organization among Central European and North American scholars. The goals and mandate of the network is to facilitate research cooperation and exchange among its members and to establish itself as a Central European hub for academic and scholarly activities between Canada and Central Europe.
