Electronic submission of theses of the University of Innsbruck and the Medical University of Innsbruck in the repository

Where can I electronically submit my thesis?

Theses of the University of Innsbruck and the Medical University of Innsbruck are entered and uploaded via this web form. The following information sheet offers an outline of the procedure as well as contact addresses in case you have questions or problems with the upload.

Further information on the publication of theses via the repository of the University of Innsbruck can be found here.

Do I have to submit the pdf of my theses as well?

According to the "Guidelines of the University of Innsbruck for Electronic Submission and Publication of Theses", published in the Newsletter on 20 September 2017, all students in Diploma, Master's or Doctoral programmes at the University of Innsbruck are obliged to submit a pdf version of their theses in addition to the print version. In the upload form, the students decide whether they agree to the electronic publishing of their thesis in the repository or not.

Note: If there are several authors, the paper can only be uploaded once.

How long does it take until the thesis can be searched online?

The theses will be online as soon as the Digital Services Department receives note of the successful completion of studies from the relevant authority (the Examination Office in particular).

Where can I look for theses submitted thus far?

Attention! Recently, there have been increasing email contacts from dubious publishers who offer to publish theses free of charge. Find out more.
