Similarity by Turnitin
The similarity check is carried out using Similarity from Turnitin. The students' files are uploaded here for verification:
Active lecturers at the University of Innsbruck can log in to Turnitin with their user data via Single Sign-On (SSO).
Similarity checks papers for text similarity with sources from the Internet and licensed journals. The software should be seen as an aid, as a tool to arrive at an assessment. The test report from similarity must always be checked and evaluated by the supervising lecturer.
