Welcome to the Brain Imaging Unit (BIU)
Established in 2022, the Brain Imaging Unit at the Department of Psychology, University of Innsbruck, provides advanced neuroimaging infrastructure for interdisciplinary research and research-driven teaching.
The unit brings together expertise from Developmental Psychology, Affective Neuroscience, Clinical and Biological Psychology, and Sports Science, fostering integrative approaches to brain–behavior research across the lifespan. We operate as a collaborative research platform that combines technical excellence and methodological innovation.
