Current Research:

I am currently doing research into the concept of flows as central to geopolitics, bringing together concepts from geographies of mobility, metabolisms, and political geography. Centering on the material lens of cement in Chinese water infrastructure, I want to explore the function of more-than-human actants as flow-manipulators, inhibiting, catalyzing and guiding flows on different scales, through different interactions and at different points throughout its existence.
