Teilzeitstelle im Labor für virale Immuntherapie von Krebs
Das Labor für virale Immuntherapie von Krebs (Universitätsklinik für Innere Medizin V, Innsbruck) sucht ab April 2026 eine/n Biomedizinische/n Analytiker/-in, Biologe/-in oder Molekularmediziner/-in. Geboten wird eine Teilzeitstelle in einem translationalen Forschungsumfeld mit Schwerpunkt Krebsimmuntherapie.

Fully funded PhD on innate immunity, memory and temperature effects using advanced molecular and imaging techniques. Start March (flexible), experience in standard molecular methods required.
Master´s Thesis: Limnology/Evolutionary Biology
Daphnia-Hybrids: evolutionary dead-ends or hopeful monsters?
Investigate how ecologically relevant functional traits vary among species of the D. longispina-galeata-cucullata complex (Dlgc) and their interspecific hybrids.
The thesis will be conducted at ILIM (Research Institute for Limnology, Mondsee) directly located at the scenic Lake Mondsee. Free accommodation at the institute and financial support will be provided.

Die Tropenstation La Gamba ist eine Forschungsstation der Universität Wien in der pazifischen Region Costa Ricas. Zahlreiche Forschende und Studierende arbeiten Jahr für Jahr in der Tropenstation und kehren mit neuen Erkenntnissen und beeindruckenden Bildern zurück. Die Foto-Ausstellung präsentiert auf 30 Tafeln Natur und Forschung in den artenreichen Regenwäldern und den angrenzenden Kulturflächen.

Traineeship-Programm
Das bezahlte, einjährige Traineeship-Programm richtet sich an Hochschulabsolvent/innen ab Bachelorniveau und bietet die Möglichkeit, Berufserfahrung im internationalen Umfeld des Europäischen Patentamts (EPO) in München oder des EU-Amts für geistiges Eigentum (EUIPO) in Alicante zu sammeln. Insbesondere für Master- und PhD-Absolvent/innen eröffnen sich längerfristige Karriereperspektiven und wertvolle Networking-Möglichkeiten.
Die Bewerbung erfolgt bis 26.02. zunächst über LFU:online an der UIBK. Dabei ist eine Entscheidung zwischen EPO und EUIPO zu treffen. Die Bewerbungsunterlagen sind anschließend direkt bei der jeweiligen Institution einzureichen. Das Vollzeitprogramm startet im September, das Studium muss bis dahin abgeschlossen sein.

Master Thesis Opportunity: Evolution of Regeneration in Flatworms
The master project aims to characterise the regenerative capacity of Plagiostomum lemani and Procerodes lobatus and analyse stem cell dynamics during regeneration in both species.

Master project: Drought intensity and drought legacy effects on trees and soil microbiota
The aim of this Master thesis is to assess the effect of drought on ectomycorrhizal (ECM)
communities associated to native tree species. The thesis will be carried out in collaboration
