Shaping the socio-ecological transition: implementing pesticide reduction, soil and water protection, and the transition to organic farming as part of the EU Green Deal in the Euregio (PESO).
The European Union’s Green Deal sets ambitious targets for a more sustainable future in agriculture. It aims to significantly reduce the use of chemicals, improve the protection of soil and water, and promote organic farming. But how can these targets be achieved in regions where farming conditions are particularly challenging – such as in the mountainous areas of the Alps?
