Faculty Council
The Faculty Council of the Faculty of Language, Literature and Culture represents the interests of all members of faculty. Its function is to advise the Dean of Faculty and serve as a forum for discussion of all issues concerning the faculty.
Members of the Faculty Council are elected for three years. Eight members represent the senior professorial staff, four the mid-level faculty and students, and one the general university staff.
The chairperson of the current Faculty Council is Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dorothee BIRKE, and the vice chairperson is Assoz.-Prof. Dr. Heike ORTNER.
