The Times Higher World University Rankings is one of the most renowned university rankings worldwide. In addition to the ranking of universities, the individual departments are also comprehensively evaluated once a year. The rankings are based on worldwide opinion polls as well as on key figures such as the ratio of students to lecturers, citations in subject databases or income from industry.
After the University of Innsbruck was ranked 201-250 in the "Business and Economics" category last year, this year it was able to advance into the top 200 and is thus behind the University of Vienna and ahead of the University of Graz and the University of Linz in Austria. "This ranking underlines the outstanding achievements of our academics in the field of business and economics," Matthias Bank, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, is pleased to say.
