Module 12: Scientists sort plants into ‘families’ (Botanic Garden)

By sorting vegetables into plant families at botanic gardens, children will begin to understand some of the classification work carried out by scientists at botanic gardens, and the need to classify plants.
During a creative activity children will think about ways to describe plants according to their uses and characteristics.
