Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment Summer School
The Universities of Trento, Bolzano, and Innsbruck will host a three-day HECTA Summer School in Trento in June/July 2026, offering interdisciplinary training in Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment (HTA). Drawing on expertise from Economics, Business, Engineering, Biotechnology, Healthcare, and Statistics, the school will introduce students to the evaluation of clinical, economic, and ethical aspects of health technologies. With rising healthcare costs and the EU HTA Regulation (2021/2282), the demand for HTA skills is growing. The programme will equip students with key tools for policy evaluation, resource-allocation decisions, and careers in industry, public institutions, and academia. Over three themed days participants will gain highly sought-after analytical skills. The initiative will also strengthen Euregio collaboration and support future joint training and research.
