Curriculum vitae

Dunja Peduzzi is a PhD student at the Department of Subject-Specific Education at the University of Innsbruck and a lecturer at the University of Teacher Education Tyrol. She graduated in Terrestrial Ecology and also successfully completed a Teacher Training Programme for the subjects Biology and Environmental Protection as well as German at the University of Innsbruck. She later worked as a research project assistant at the Department of Geography and as a University Assistant at the Department of Subject-Specific Education at the University of Innsbruck. Dunja Peduzzi's research interests have so far focused on socio-scientific issues in science teaching, such as the challenge of sustainable adaptation to the impacts of climate change. As part of her dissertation, she is currently investigating the self-efficacy experiences and expectations of student teachers and teachers in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). She also has several years of teaching experience in both secondary and tertiary education.

Dunja Peduzzi ist Doktorandin und am Institut für Fachdidaktik der Universität Innsbruck sowie Dozentin an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Tirol. Sie absolvierte ihr Studium der Terrestrischen Ökologie an der Universität Innsbruck und schloss dort ebenfalls erfolgreich ein Lehramtsstudium für die Fächer Biologie und Umweltkunde sowie Deutsch ab. Später war sie als wissenschaftliche Projektmitarbeiterin am Institut für Geographie sowie als Universitätsassistentin am Institut für Fachdidaktik der Universität Innsbruck tätig. Ihre Forschungsinteressen konzentrierten sich bisher vor allem auf gesellschaftsrelevante Themen im naturwissenschaftlichen Unterricht wie die Herausforderung einer nachhaltigen Adaptation an die Folgen des Klimawandels. Im Rahmen ihrer Dissertation untersucht Dunja Peduzzi aktuell die Selbstwirksamkeitserfahrungen und -erwartungen von Lehramtsstudierenden sowie Lehrenden in der Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung (BNE). Sie verfügt darüber hinaus über jeweils mehrere Jahre Lehrerfahrung in der Sekundarstufe und im Hochschulbereich.
