Open Access publishing with IWA (International Water Association) Publishing
Starting with January 2019, there is a new offer for open access publishing free of charge with IWA publishing. University members with active employment contracts or students of the University of Innsbruck or the Medical University of Innsbruck can publish open access free of charge in all of the publisher’s journals and also have access to the entire publisher’s portfolio.
Which journals can scientists of the universities publish in?
You can publish open access in 15 journals of IWA publishing. You can find the complete list of journals here.
Who can publish open access?
Eligible are authors, who
- are corresponding authors of the article
- are university members with active employment contracts or students of the University of Innsbruck or the Medical University of Innsbruck
- are publishing Original Research, Review Papers, Brief Communication, Short Reports or Case Reports
ATTENTION: It is not permitted to retrospectively change the corresponding author after peer-review.
Procedure/Verification Process:
In order to submit an article to IWA, authors must create a personalised account and provide their institutional email address. During the submission of the article, the affiliation must be indicated. Based on these two parameters, the publisher identifies the authors' affiliation to the respective institution.
The article is published under a Creative Commons licence.
