Job description:
  • In this position you are expected to write a dissertation in a stimulating environment using the university's infrastructure. You will hold your own lectures, tutor students and participate in administration. 50% of the working time is reserved for the thesis.

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for this position amounts to € 1.465 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before. University Assistant (PhD position):

30 hours per week

Details:

You will be a part of the small team focused on developing testing approaches for different IoT devices. More specifically, your core task will be to build an innovative testbed for drones by actively monitoring the network, sensor and location data. This task will be performed in interconnected real and simulated environments, where multiple IoT devices are collaborating and sharing data.

You have:
  • Master in Computer Science or related area (completion of master before December 31, 2020)
  • Interest in Testing IoT Systems
  • You speak English and German
  • Writing and programming skills
  • Openness to learn new things and doing research
