Call for abstracts
We are pleased to invite researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to submit abstracts for the 52nd annual meeting of the Leisure Studies Association (LSA).
This conference provides an international platform for discussing current developments, challenges, and future pathways in the dynamic field of leisure studies. Under the conference theme “Leisure in the Digital Era: Pathways for Gaming, Sport, Tourism and Leisure Experience Providers”, we welcome submissions addressing the role of digital transformation in shaping leisure practices, experiences, participation, and provision.
Submissions from all areas of leisure studies are encouraged, including theoretical, empirical, conceptual, and practice-oriented contributions. Topics may include (but are not limited to) digital leisure experiences, gaming and esports, sport and digitalisation, tourism and innovation, and questions of infrastructure, accessibility, and regional development.
Research in progress and completed research are equally admissible; however, manuscripts accepted for publication should not be submitted.
English is the official language of the conference.
