Müller Amrei

Amrei Müller studied Sport and Movement Mediation in Leisure and Recreational Sports at the German Sport University Cologne and Sport Science at the University of Innsbruck. Her Master’s thesis examined the prevalence of interpersonal violence in sports clubs in Tyrol, as well as athletes’ knowledge of prevention concepts, with a particular focus on the role of gender stereotypes.
Building on this work, her PhD focuses on “Integrity in Sports”. It aims to contribute to the growing body of research on interpersonal violence, its psychological consequences, and athlete welfare, thereby bridging scientific inquiry with social responsibility.
