Physics Education Research

Learning Physics in a Changing World

The Physics Education Research Group investigates how people learn, understand, and teach physics. Our research focuses on climate change education, conceptual understanding, and the professional development of physics teachers. Combining cognitive, disciplinary, and societal perspectives, we conduct empirical research that contributes to the advancement of physics teaching, scientific literacy, and evidence-based science education.

Our research interests include:

  • Climate Change Education
  • Teacher Professionalisation
  • Cognitive mechanisms of learning physical concepts
