Master’s Programme Gender, Culture and Social Change

Study Gender Studies!

- since winter term 2010/11 this is possible at the University of Innsbruck. The Master's program Gender, Culture and Social Change (MA GKSW) with its interdisciplinary orientation and interfaculty structure is a successful project with increasing demand at the University of Innsbruck.

Scientific supervision by the Center Interdisciplinary Gender Studies

The programme is scientifically supervised by the Center Interdisciplinary Gender Studies and jointly supported by 7 faculties*. The research-led teaching for the 6 compulsory modules and a total of 13 elective modules is partly taken from the existing courses offered by the participating faculties, and partly designed and offered by members of the CGI specifically for the MA programme. An impression of the breadth of the study content and topics can be gained from the list of Master's theses already completed.

Organisation

For all organizational questions, the study coordination in the office for Gender Equality is the right contact point; for questions regarding study law, the study representative can help.
