Ich bin Historikerin, arbeite in Innsbruck und Wien, Schwerpunkte sind Sprachen-, Religions- und Nationalitätenvielfalt der späten Habsburgermonarchie und bin an der Universität Innsbruck, am Institut für Bibelwissenschaft und Historische Theologie, tätig, wo ich als Projektleiterin ein fünfjähriges FWF-Forschungsprojekt zum Thema „Sprachliche Vielfalt und die römisch-katholische Kirche im späten habsburgischen Österreich“ leite. Seit 2009 lehre ich an der Universität Wien (seit 2020 mit Venia docendi), und war neben Gastprofessuren, Forschungs- und Gaststipendien, unter anderem an der Tschechischen Akademie der Wissenschaften, am Päpstlichen Institut Santa Maria dell’Anima in Rom, an der Andrássy-Universität Budapest, an der Universität Hradec Králové und am Institut für Zeitgeschichte in Ljubljana tätig.

I am a historian working in Innsbruck and Vienna of the diversity of Habsburg Central Europe affiliated with the University of Innsbruck, Department for Biblical Studies and Historical Theology, where I am the principial investigator of a five year project dealing with "Language Diversity and the Roman Catholic Church in late Habsburg Austria". Since 2009 I am teaching at the University of Vienna (since 2020 with a venia docendi), beside guest professorships, research and visiting fellowships, among them the Czech Academy of Sciences, Pontifical Institute Santa Maria dell'Anima in Rome, Andrássy University Budapest, University of Hradec Královéand the Institute for Contemporary History in Ljubljana.
