Das DANK IMAGES worklab ist ein interdisziplinäres Forschungsnetzwerk von internationalen Wissenschaftler:innen, Kunst- und Kulturschaffenden, die sich regelmäßig über ihre unterschiedlichen fachlichen Perspektiven, methodischen Zugänge und theoretischen Standpunkte zu vernetzten und algorithmischen Bildphänomenen und -praktiken austauschen.

Platform Workshippers
Join us for an artist talk with S()fia Braga, presenting her work Platform Workshippers (2023–2025), currently on view in the group show „Platform Wars“ at Camera Austria Graz. The installation explores the logics of centralized platforms, self-marketing, and digital labor—from daily vloggers and NPC streamers to WIII-GRWM creators—and connects these practices to the tree of life as a mythological-religious symbol. Braga highlights how platform work can be both labor and ritual, revealing the power dynamics at play.
