This blended programme combines critical theory with experiential learning. Drawing on critical discourse analysis, students will examine how digital platforms and online interactions shape meaning, influence participation, and reproduce or challenge inequalities. In small international groups, participants will translate their analyses into creative media projects such as videos or podcasts, connecting theory to real-world digital issues they care about.
The programme brings together approximately 20 students from Palacký University Olomouc (host institution), Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and the University of Innsbruck, fostering international collaboration and intercultural exchange.
This programme combines:
Online introductory session (30 March)
On-site intensive phase in Olomouc (13–17 April)
Online reflection and evaluation session (27 April)
The BIP is designed in line with the Erasmus+ Mobility Programme and emphasizes critical thinking, media literacy, creative collaboration, and reflective engagement with one’s own digital practices.
Students must be nominated by their home university. Please submit a one-page motivation letter to: aurora-mobility@uibk.ac.at
Internal Nomination deadline: 29 January 2026
