BIP Cultural and Emotional Literacy

BIP Cultural and Emotional Literacy

The BIP "Cultural and Emotional Literacy", offered by Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC), is a five-day Blended Intensive Programme for university educators and staff. It focuses on developing cultural and emotional competencies to foster Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in higher education through experiential workshops, reflective practices, and intercultural dialogue, making inclusion a lived and embodied practice.

What if inclusion in higher education was not only something we plan and discuss, but something we actively experience and embody? The Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Cultural and Emotional Literacy” invites university educators and staff to explore Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) through connection, reflection, and lived experience.

This 5-day blended programme moves beyond institutional frameworks to focus on how cultural and emotional awareness can be practiced in everyday academic life. Through experiential workshops, listening circles, creative collaboration, and mindful practices, participants will develop emotional and cultural literacy as key competencies for inclusive and sustainable education.

This programme combines:

Online opening Session (26 May 2026)
 An on-site intensive phase (8–12 June 2026)
An online closing session (26 June 2026)

The programme is grounded in a caring learning atmosphere and encourages an ecological form of collaboration, where ideas and projects can grow gradually from collective reflection and experience.

Educators and Staff must be nominated by their home university. Please submit a one-page motivation letter to: aurora-mobility@uibk.ac.at
Internal Nomination deadline: 30 March 2026
