Aurora Call for Incen­tive Rese­arch and Edu­ca­tion Col­la­bo­ra­tion

Aurora European Universities launches the Call for Incentive Research & Education Collaboration 2026, a unique funding initiative connecting research and education. The call supports innovative collaborative research projects, thematic schools, and short-term mobility for early-stage researchers across six transdisciplinary hubs: Sustainability, Digital Society, Health and Wellbeing, Culture, Social Entrepreneurship, and Peace Education.

Supported Actions:

  1. Exploratory and Collaborative Research Projects
    • Research projects or combined research and education projects.
    • Build knowledge, tackle societal challenges, and create long-term research communities.
    • Can serve as a foundation for larger-scale funding in the future.
       
  2. Thematic Schools and Intensive Research Seminars
    • Focused on disciplinary or multidisciplinary training.
    • Offer career development, knowledge sharing, and network building.
       
  3. Short-term Secondments for Early-stage Researchers
    • Master, PhD, and post-doc researchers can engage in short-term mobility (up to 3 months).
    • Conduct research or training at an Aurora 2030 full member university.

2026_AURORA_CALL_[PI NAME]_[UNIVERSITY]_[PROJECT ACRONYME]_[KA123]_[OPTION]

([OPTION] is ER for Exploratory and collaborative research project and CRE for Combined research and education project, TS for Thematic schools and IRS for Intensive research seminars.) 

The deadline for the submission of proposals is on 17 April 2026 at 12:00 (noon) Central European Summer Time (CEST).
