UPEC Summer School 2026
The Aurora Summer School “Emerging Futures: Societal Innovation Meets Futures Studies” will take place from 9–19 June 2026 at the Université Paris-Est Créteil in France. It brings together students from Aurora partner universities to explore future-oriented approaches to societal challenges through interdisciplinary learning.
VU Amsterdam Summer School 2026
The Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) will once again host its Summer School in 2026, taking place on the university’s campus in Amsterdam.
Students can choose from four intensive courses that address contemporary topics such as sustainability, entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence in education and leadership.
Aurora Call for Incentive Research and Education Collaboration
Aurora European Universities launches the Call for Incentive Research & Education Collaboration 2026, a unique funding initiative connecting research and education. The call supports innovative collaborative research projects, thematic schools, and short-term mobility for early-stage researchers across six transdisciplinary hubs: Sustainability, Digital Society, Health and Wellbeing, Culture, Social Entrepreneurship, and Peace Education.
Aurora begrüßt University of Sussex als Partner
Das Aurora Universities Network erweitert ihr internationales Partnernetzwerk: Die University of Sussex ist seit Februar 2026 neuer Strategischer Partner des Netzwerks. Die Zusammenarbeit wurde durch die Unterzeichnung eines Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) offiziell besiegelt und markiert einen wichtigen Schritt hin zu einer möglichen Vollmitgliedschaft der britischen Universität ab Ende 2026.

The BIP "Cultural and Emotional Literacy", offered by Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC), is a five-day Blended Intensive Programme for university educators and staff. It focuses on developing cultural and emotional competencies to foster Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in higher education through experiential workshops, reflective practices, and intercultural dialogue, making inclusion a lived and embodied practice.

This Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) takes place at the University of Duisburg-Essen and focuses on Digital Resilience for a Vital Europe. The programme explores how individuals, organisations, and public institutions can anticipate, withstand, and respond to digital, legal, and socio-political disruptions.
