SFB Administrator position

We also invite applications for the part-time position of the DUNE SFB Administrator, who will assist the Speaker of the SFB (Univ.-Prof. Tim Schrabback) in the SFB management, e.g. regarding the SFB internal and external communication, the grant management, the preparation and maintenance of the SFB webpage, the organisation of meetings, conference, telecons, and outreach events, as well as the preparation of documents, minutes, and outreach materials. Key requirements for the position include excellent command of written and spoken English (C1 level), very good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team. Prior experience regarding the tasks listed above is seen as a plus. The position is funded for the duration of the first SFB funding period (March 1st, 2026 to February 28th, 2030) and by default for 10 hours per week. SFB salary schemes follow the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for University Staff (Kollektivvertrag für die Arbeitnehmerinnen & Arbeitnehmer der Universitäten).
