Ray‑tracing through fast differentiable simulations

The full exploitation of surveys like Euclid necessitates the creation of innovative statistical techniques and simulation techniques. Standard analysis methods for large‑scale structure data might not be able to extract the full potential of the data and perform the best possible tests of dark energy, gravity, the epoch of inflation, and neutrino masses. What is more, recent results indicate a possible mismatch between the ΛCDM model and observations, such as the Hubble tension and indications of an evolving dark energy equation of state. Novel analysis techniques are needed to either confirm or refute these anomalies, and to test the ΛCDM model against alternative models.
