Textiles can be much more than just clothing. Equipped with "intelligent" additional functions, they will not only be produced more sustainably in the future, but will also function as an individualised fabric that lights up, communicates, stores energy or monitors vital functions. These new materials will also play an important role in the construction sector, in our homes and in the packaging industry. In a room-filling installation, visitors can experience new textiles.
TOUCH ME IF YOU CAN connotes these skills in a textile landscape that conveys information from the research area of the Institute of Textile Chemistry and Textile Physics – TCCV Dornbirn.
