Student Advisory Service
The Student Advisory Service is the place to go for questions about your studies. It offers advice and information on choosing a major and organizing your studies, and helps you get off to a successful start.

Department for South Tyrolean Affairs
Prospective students and current students from South Tyrol can contact the Department for South Tyrolean Affairs with specific questions, such as the recognition of academic degrees and much more.
Inclusion
The Disability Officer of the University of Innsbruck serves as the point of contact for students with disabilities, impairments (including temporary ones), mental health conditions, and/or chronic illnesses.

Family Services
The 'Family Services' at the University of Innsbruck is the point of contact for students and staff who are caring for children or family members. The Family Services Office offers advice and information on ways to balance studies or work with family life and provides childcare services.
ÖH
The ÖH (Austrian National Union of Students) is an advocacy organization and a point of contact for questions regarding legal advice, information on financial aid, job and housing listings, and many other topics.
Studying Abroad
The International Relations Office compiles information on study abroad programs and fosters international collaborations and partnerships for the University of Innsbruck.

The University of Innsbruck is a member of the European university network Aurora. This collaboration benefits students, researchers, and administrative staff alike.
LFU:online
LFU:online is the University of Innsbruck’s student portal. Here, you can manage your personal information, course registrations, and exam results. You can also use LFU:online to print your academic transcript or certificate of enrollment, and much more. To make using LFU:online even easier, you can install the Uni-App. That way, you’ll always have a clear overview.

It includes the full range of features available on LFU:online, the University of Innsbruck’s student portal, including all exam results and an ECTS counter.
Creating a Class Schedule
Students at the university are responsible for creating their own class schedules. Before the semester begins, students must register for each course they wish to take in the upcoming semester.
The Infosession “Studienstart” also provides a good overview of how to organize your daily academic life, create a class schedule, and offers additional tips for a successful start to your studies.

The Curriculum
A curriculum is a university’s study plan. It specifies which courses, subjects, and exams are included in a degree program and the order in which they should be completed.

ECTS Credits
ECTS credits reflect the workload of courses. Whenever you successfully complete a course, you will receive the ECTS credits specified in the curriculum.

ULB
The University and State Library of Tyrol (ULB) is an important resource for students. It offers subject-specific literature to support your studies and also serves as a study space for many students. In addition, it offers various workshops, writing advice, and a range of events designed to support you in your studies.

Campus Maps / Locations
In addition to several smaller locations, the Innrain Campus, the Technikerstraße Campus, the Universitätsstraße Campus, and the Sport Campus are the four largest campuses of the University of Innsbruck. An overview of the lecture halls, seminar rooms, and meeting rooms will also help you find your way around the university campus.

Psychological Support
The Student Psychological Counseling Service provides support during times of crisis and with personal problems such as exam anxiety, loneliness, addiction, obsessive thoughts, and many others. It’s normal to have problems, and it makes sense to do something about them.

Nightline Innsbruck is a helpline run by students for students. Whether it's about worries, fears, trivial matters, joy, or grief.
Equal Treatment
You can contact the Working Group on Equal Treatment if you feel you have been discriminated against or harassed in a university setting.

Incidents of sexual harassment as a form of discrimination are, unfortunately, a reality in all large organizations. The University of Innsbruck, as a place of study and work, is no exception. Individuals who feel they have been sexually harassed can easily seek help at luis:a locations in an emergency situation.

Learning Languages
The Language Center at the University of Innsbruck offers a wide range of language courses. You can also take the preparatory course for the supplementary Latin exam here.
Minors (Complementary Subject Areas)
In many degree programs, students have the opportunity to tailor their studies with minors from other disciplines. With an elective package worth 30 ECTS credits, you can set your own academic focus and develop additional skills.

study&more is a low-threshold information and counseling service organized by the Central Student Advising Office. During the semester, both university-affiliated and external organizations are available to answer questions at designated times.
