Inclusion

Aspart of our Inclusion project programme, we would like to increase the number of employees with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses and expressly encourage qualified persons to apply to the University of Innsbruck.

The University of Innsbruck carries the "We are inclusive" seal of approval. This award is presented by the Social Ministry Service Tyrol Regional Office to companies and social or public service providers in Tyrol that employ and/or train employees with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses on an equal basis.

In2018, the University of Innsbruck was awardedDiversity Management Award "Diversitas"by the Ministry of Education, Science and Research for the first time. These awards are a great incentive for us to not only continue our measures for inclusion, but to expand them further.

On 21 December 2020, the University of Innsbruck received the Diversity Management Award "Diversitas" for the second time with the Centre for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies Innsbruck (CGI). The aim of the CGI is to integrate all academics and interested employees of the University of Innsbruck who work in the field of gender studies and women's and gender research. The CGI also plays an important role for the "Third Mission" so that we can make the topics of diversity, gender and equality more visible beyond the borders of the university.
