Arthur-Haidl-Prize 2015: awarded to the DyME research group for excellent scientific theory and research in the field of multilingualism applied to practice, contributing to the city of Innsbruck and its standing.

Venia Docendi: English Studies and Linguistics (Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, Austria) 2006. Habilitation: Linguistic awareness in multilinguals: English as a third language (Edinburgh UP, 2006) – awared the Liechtenstein Award 2007
