Numerical Analysis of Evolution Equations

8th NAI Workshop, Innsbruck (Austria), October 14-17, 2014

Numerical Analysis of Evolution Equations

The intention of the workshop is to provide a platform for exchanging new ideas and results in the development of innovative integrators for evolution equations. The workshop covers both, theoretical and practical aspects, and wants to bring together numerical analysts working in the field as well as PhD students who intend to start in this area.

Invited speakers:

  • Tobias Jahnke (Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), Institut für Angewandte und Numerische Mathematik)
  • Pauline Lafitte-Godillon (Laboratoire MAS - Ecole Centrale Paris, Département de Mathématiques)

The workshop will take place in Innsbruck at the Bildungsinstitut Grillhof. It will start in the evening of October 14, 2014 with an informal dinner and will end on October 17, 2014 after lunch. The conference fee (including the excursion, hotel accommodation and full board, i.e. breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks, and dinner) at the Bildungsinstitut Grillhof is
330 Euro before September 9, 2014;
380 Euro from September 10, 2014.
The above registration fees cover accommodation in double rooms (with separated beds). The surcharge for single occupation is 50 Euro.

The deadline for submitting an abstract is September 21, 2014. A tentative program will be available at the end of September.

The early bird registration is already open.

The workshop is jointly organized by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Innsbruck, the Institute of Applied and Numerical Mathematics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the Department of Mathematics and Informatics at the University of Trieste.
