Titel: From genomes to pangenomes to adaptation and gene regulation
Abstract:
I will present how we are using advances in genome sequencing technologies - from single reference genomes to pangenome approaches - to study structural genome variation, adaptation, gene regulation, and plasticity. For example, using case studies in butterflies and other arthropods together with tools such as ATAC-seq, we examine how changes to genomic architecture and regulatory elements shape evolutionary trajectories and contribute to phenotypic diversity.
