Leoni completed her Bachelor’s degree (2022) and Master’s degree (2025) in Sport Science at the University of Innsbruck. Alongside her studies, she worked as a student assistant, mostly in the field of exercise physiology, where she contributed to research and teaching activities. Additionally, Leoni acquired several coaching qualifications, including certifications as a fitness and snowboarding instructor, as well as a beach volleyball coach. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Sports Medicine under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Anne Hecksteden. Her doctoral research focuses on the interplay between statin use and the tolerance of preventive exercise, with particular emphasis on the role of physical muscle loading.
