Research Agenda
Our aim is to explore these multifaceted issues across different national contexts. Through eventual publication, our goal is to showcase research and analyses of workplace learning developments in Asia and Europe, shedding light on specific contextual and cultural factors that foster inclusive workplace learning through digital technologies, and empower individuals through innovative workplace practices.
Members are utilising and building on their existing research activities/resources, often involving partners and collaborators. We are working towards a series of papers to be published in the fifth anthology of our series, to be completed by 2026. We are approaching the question from the standpoint of human – centred technology and innovation, using the concepts of inclusive use (ethical approaches and practices that enable the equitable access and active participation of the widest possible range of workers) and ‘socially embedded capability’ (Boyadjieva 2023) to address how working people can be empowered through diverse contexts of adult learning.
