During my Aurora Research Secondment, I spent three months at the University of Duisburg-Essen and a short stay at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. The aim was to revise my dissertation Figures of the Unhomely and prepare it for submission in 2025. Participating in academic workshops and lectures significantly enriched my thinking and opened up new perspectives. I was able to build and strengthen valuable research networks and receive insightful feedback from experts in my field. The secondment offered crucial academic and professional impulses that greatly contributed to the progress of my work.
