BIP CIRCLE - Circular Infrastructure for Regenerative Cities and Local Ecosystems

The BIP "CIRCLE" focuses on linking environmental sustainability goals with urban design by developing circular infrastructures for regenerative cities and local ecosystems at the Università di Napoli Federico II (UNINA). It aims to equip students with practical skills to transform disused urban areas into neighborhood-scale hubs that support reuse, repair, and sustainable local resource cycles.

The course is aimed at developing critical capacity and specialized skills regarding the relationship between environmental sustainability goals and design, stressing the technical and heuristic intelligence of the same to prefigure new eco-socio-technical environments appropriate to the finite condition of natural resources.
