Jörg Lücke is the head of the Artificial Intelligence Lab at the Computer Science Department of Innsbruck University. Before, he was Professor for Machine Learning at Oldenburg University, Germany, and Junior Research Group Leader at the TU Berlin and Frankfurt University, Germany.
In his research, Jörg Lücke investigates probabilistic generative models for unsupervised and semi-supervised learning. Main interests are very efficient learning algorithms for standard models as well as for structured generative models. In his lab, novel scaled models are applied to visual, acoustic and bio-medical data and to general pattern recognition tasks.
