Investment projects in R&D infrastructure
SUSTAINABLE FIBER RESEARCH 2022
For the expansion and modernization of sustainable fiber research, new investments in R&D infrastructure are planed, mainly for basic research in the fields of climate protection, resource efficiency and circular economy.
Research activities in the following areas will be significantly strengthened:
- Environmentally friendly energy storage concepts by developing novel textile-based electrodes
- Development of bio-based fiber materials and new concepts in textile circularity
