SHAPING the FUTURE - how ADES & CALstore are rewriting the global energy game!
The global energy transition is accelerating, yet stability, scalability, and reliability remain unresolved. This talk presents a disruptive two-pillar architecture: ADES (Accelerator-Driven Energy Source) and CALstore, a modular high-temperature molten-salt storage system. ADES enables subcritical, controllable thorium-based power generation, while CALstore converts surplus renewable electricity into dispatchable heat up to 550 °C. Together, they deliver clean baseload power, industrial heat-on-demand, and grid resilience. This integrated system outperforms fossil and conventional solutions in efficiency, safety, and economics—positioning Europe, especially Austria’s Green Tech Valley, at the forefront of next-generation energy innovation.
