The Romance Studies programme in Innsbruck is unique for the fact that the faculty offers you direct access to the cultures and linguistic diversity of the Romance-speaking world as well as to academic research that goes beyond the lecture hall. To this end, our teachers offer a variety of activities to get you out of the lecture hall, take advantage of the opportunities offered by Romance-speaking cultures in Innsbruck, and find special opportunities in Innsbruck's institutions, which are closely linked to the Institute of Romance Studies, to discover your own little piece of Romania right here in Tyrol...
Cineforum Italiano organises FREE film evenings. It is an independent and non-profit student initiative that aims to stimulate interest in Italian culture through Italian cinema and to enable students to better understand the Italian language through Italian films. If you are even interested in joining a dynamic student group that takes care of the film selection, just send us an e-mail at cineforumitaliano@gmx.at.
Every Thursday - jueves in Spanish - in the semester you can watch new and/or particularly culturally valuable films from the Spanish-speaking world in Spanish. Mario Soto Delgado organises the film evenings at the Institute of Romance Studies.

The Inncontro (International Film Festival of Diversity) aims to promote exchange on migration issues in the form of audiovisual contributions and their discursive embedding and mediation. Films from the Romansh-speaking communication areas also play an important role here.

The ACHT (Asociación Cultural de Hispanohablantes en Tirol) is a cultural association that aims to bring Spanish-speaking people into contact with each other and to communicate the rich cultural diversity of Spanish in the world to interested Tyroleans. There is also a children's library and cultural theme evenings, including concerts and literature readings.
