Enrique Cerezo Herrero
Enrique Cerezo Herrero holds a PhD in Translation Studies from the Universitat de València (Spain), where he completed a doctoral thesis focused on the teaching of English as a B language in translator and interpreter training. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of English and German Philology at the Universitat de València, where he teaches a range of translation and English language courses within the Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interlinguistic Mediation.
Melita Koletnik
Melita Koletnik is a practicing translator, translation scholar, and translator trainer at the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor, Slovenia. She holds a PhD in Translation Studies. Her research centres on enhancing the linguistic competence of future translators and interpreters, a focus she pursues as part of the LANTTI international research group. Recently, her interests have expanded to include the intersection of translators’ linguistic skills and the demands of artificial intelligence. She is currently undertaking an MSCA postdoctoral fellowship at the Centre for Translation Studies (Zentrum für Translationswissenschaft) in Vienna, Austria.
Astrid Schmidhofer
Astrid Schmidhofer works as a Senior Scientist at the Department of Translation Studies at the University of Innsbruck. She studied Spanish and English at the University of Vienna and did master’s degrees in the areas of Translation Studies, Audiovisual Translation and Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language in Spain as well as a PhD in Translation Studies at the University of Córdoba. Her research focuses on language training in translation studies, translation teaching, language comparison (German-Spanish) as well as AI and machine translation from a teaching/learning and user perspective.
Jim Ureel
Jim Ureel is a senior lecturer (associate professor) of Applied Linguistics/Translation Studies/English at the University of Antwerp (Belgium), where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on applied linguistics, research skills and English (grammar, text production, Dutch–English translation). His main research interests include foreign/second language acquisition, English as a foreign/second language, English for specific purposes (ESP), L2 sociolinguistics, and cognitive load theory in L2/translation instruction. He has an MA in Translation Studies and a PhD in Foreign/Second Language Acquisition. He is an active member of the editorial board of the translation journal Linguistica Antverpiensia New Series – Themes in Translation Studies (LANS–TTS).
