Work Package 1 – Management & Leadership

WP 1

Main objectives within this work package

  • Our Management & Leadership (WP1), Quality Management (WP 2) as well as Sustainability & Dissemination (WP6) work packages will ensure that we achieve the objectives laid out in our substantive work packages WP 3, WP 4 and WP 5. The red thread running through these supportive activities is the holistic approach involving all Aurora members in all activities, in addition to the contribution of all activities to the building of the Aurora Alliance as a new European University with its own identity and culture, and the cross-fertilisation of ideas and outputs across the substantive work packages.

The following activities will contribute in achieving this objective:

Aurora Governance

We will set up and maintain a governance structure for the Aurora Alliance, with an Aurora Alliance Board, an Aurora Alliance Management Team and mechanisms to ensure involvement of students, academics and external stakeholders (including decision and conflict resolution mechanisms).

Aurora Communications

To ensure reciprocal information suited to the implementation of the Aurora Alliance programme with effective communication about our progress/results with internal and external stakeholders.

Aurora Monitoring

Keep track of and ensure adequate feedback on execution of tasks and achievement of deliverables.

Aurora Financial Management

Ensure effective, efficient, and legitimate allocation and accounting of resources.

Aurora Risk Management

Mitigate risks and avoid risks jeopardising the overall achievement of the Aurora Alliance proposal.
