This conference brings together junior researchers on the bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD level of the University of Innsbruck who are interested in and working on any field within English linguistics. This one-day conference gives you the opportunity to present and discuss your research with your peers as well as the linguists at our Department of English.

Presentation Format: present your research project design within the field of English linguistics. A major focus should be on methodology and research design. We also encourage you to present any emerging results from your study. Accepted abstracts will get 15 minutes for presentation, plus 5 minutes discussion time.

Location: University of Innsbruck, room to be announced

Abstract Submission and Conference Registration: If you would like to participate as a presenter or conference attendee, please submit an abstract for consideration. To do so, click here. The deadline for conference registration and submission of your abstract is 17 August 2026, 11 a.m. We will inform you about your acceptance for presentation by 21 September 2026.
