Call for Abstracts

 

 

 

 

Presentation Format: Present your research project design within the field of English linguistics. A major focus should be on methodology and research design. We also encourage you to present any emerging results from your study. Accepted abstracts will get 15 minutes for presentation, plus 5 minutes discussion time.

Abstract Submission for Presenters: If you want to present at the conference, please submit an abstract of your project. Once you have filled out the attendance form, you can submit your abstract through the same form by clicking on this link:

Should you be unable to upload your abstract through the Google form (Google account required), send it to us via e-mail (jayou.oh@uibk.ac.at) using your university e-mail address.

Abstract Guidelines and Template: The abstract should not exceed 300 words (excluding references and up to 5 keywords), and it should include the relevant theoretical background, research question(s), data and methodology, as well as (any expected) results. Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per person. Please refer to the following template providing further information on abstract structure and submission.

Deadline for conference registration and submission of your abstract: 17 August 2026, 11 a.m.

Notification of Acceptance: by 21 September 2026
