The seven-day interdisciplinary excursion took place within the EMMA (Environmental Management of Mountain Areas) MSc programme and gave students a practical, field-based knowledge of current issues in the management of mountain environments in the Euregio, both terrestrial and riverine. This was made possible by the collaboration of teachers from UNIBZ, UIBK and UNITN with local stakeholders from public agencies responsible for land and river management.
