Dialogue with practitioners

As part of our research work, we regularly investigate various aspects of controlling practice in companies and other organisations. We bring our findings back to the controlling community in the form of practical publications as well as events such as the Controlling Round Table.

Within the framework of our "partnership" model, we offer companies an increased opportunity for cooperation with the chair, in the sense of an ongoing dialogue between us and the companies.

The following opportunities or advantages arise for the participating companies:

• Organised exchange with other practitioners (Controlling Round Table)
• Opportunity to present themselves as employers in lectures
• Placement of students for internships
• Working on relevant issues in the context of diploma or master's theses

Alumni network

It is important to us to maintain close contact not only with our students, but also with our alumni. Through our alumni network, we inform our graduates about events, interesting research projects, job opportunities and much more - and we allow them to maintain direct contact with each other.

We have opened two alumni groups on LinkedIn for this purpose: Accounting@UIBK for graduates of the Master's programme Accounting, Auditing and Taxation; and Controlling@UIBK for graduates of our SBWL in the Bachelor's programme. We invite all our graduates to join one of these groups. Of course, we are also happy to receive enquiries, ideas or suggestions by email or telephone.
