Applications for ZID services
On this page you will find applications for ZID services.
Applications for personal accounts, functional accounts and telephony can be found at the new Application portal.
Authorisations are managed automatically. You will only see forms for which you have authorisation.
Authorised persons are heads of institutes and other organisational units as well as persons registered by the OU in writing or via online application (employees in the secretariats, IT officers, etc.). Please contact the secretariat of your institute/organisational unit regarding the application process. Project managers and administrative project staff are also authorised to apply for functional accounts for projects.

General information on user authorisation, accounts for employees, external lecturers and students as well as passwords and single sign-on can be found at Accounts at the University of Innsbruck.
The individual applications in the application portal are described below. The link will take you directly to the relevant form in the portal.
Application for personal account
Here you can apply for a personal account for external lecturers, apprentices or non-university institutions, an account for the exclusive use of OpenOlat and changes to an existing account (extension, cancellation, application for additional services).
Staff members who are permanent employees do not need to complete a separate application for a new user authorisation. The account is automatically applied for as part of the appointment procedure and created by us ("entry workflow"), provided the form is completed and submitted in the entry workflow.
Students receive their personal account and thus the authorisation to use the services of the ZID together with their admission data.
Application for functional account
Apply here for a functional account for projects, e-mail addresses of the institute/organisational unit (OU), for congresses, symposia, mailing lists, administration accounts for ZIDshare, as well as changes to an existing functional account (extension, cancellation, application for further services).

Application for the VoIP telephone system

Application for company mobile phones
Apply here for the following services in connection with the company mobile phone:
- Registering or deregistering a work mobile phone (device and SIM card)
- Registering or cancelling a SIM card
- Creation or cancellation of call forwarding to the business mobile phone
- Registering, cancelling or changing data options (data roaming, additional data volume)
