Project content:

The BlueGreenCities project investigates the consequences of uncertain water variability and the resulting implications for adaptation measures such as blue-green infrastructures to improve the resilience of our cities under future climate change scenarios. The aim is to optimise climate change adaptation measures, including nature-based and engineered solutions, to improve both water and energy balance, increase evaporative cooling through water availability, reduce runoff peaks and thus reduce the risk of heat and flooding in cities.
