The PromptLab project is being carried out by a cross-faculty team, consisting of members of three faculties and five departments of the University of Innsbruck:

Experience and Responsibilities within the PromptLab Project
Priv.-Doz. Dr. Nicola Brocca (Head Applicant and Project Lead) has extensive experience in projects related to technology-enhanced education, including LadderWeb, DigiTask, OPTIMIST, SciLMi, and Science4Life. He collaborates internationally on the use of prompts in higher education and has co-authored several scholarly articles on the topic. Responsibilities within the PromptLab project: administration and coordination of project activities and related research; creating and piloting learning materials for courses in Foreign Language Didactics at the Faculty of Teacher Education; creation of the PromptLab database; dissemination; formal analysis; final report.
Mag. Stefanie Jäger, BEd, BA, PhD (Co-Applicant and Project Partner) is a delegate of the Faculty for the Digital Community (UIBK) and member of the Faculty working group for AI-guidelines for students. She attended numerous international training courses on the use of AI in teaching. Responsibilities within the PromptLab project: creating and piloting learning materials for educational science courses at the Faculty of Educational Sciences; financial issues; supporting the research process; dissemination.
Assoc. Prof. Mag. Dr. Christine Konecny (Co-Applicant and Project Partner) is Associate Professor of Italian Linguistics. Her research focuses on lexical semantics, phraseology, and lexicography, with particular expertise in extracting and analysing collocations from large text corpora within various research projects. For several semesters, she has been incorporating AI and prompting into her teaching (e.g., VU Lexicology, Semantics, Pragmatics, Applied Linguistics: Italian) and into her research; e.g., she chaired the session "Leichte und Einfache Sprache im Spiegel künstlicher Intelligenz" at the ÖLT conference 2024. Responsibilities within the PromptLab project: creating and piloting learning materials for courses in Italian linguistics at the Department of Romance Studies; creation and co-hosting of the website; supporting the research process; dissemination.
Mag. Sunet Grobler, PhD (Co-Applicant and Project Partner) is a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant and her research interests include the professional development of teachers, the concept of quality education (SDG4), and how the Agenda2030 can be supported through education for sustainable development, AI and differentiated instruction. Responsibilities within the PromptLab project: creating and piloting learning materials for educational research courses at the Department of Teacher Education and School Research; ethical issues; supporting the research process; dissemination.
DDr. Joseph Wang-Kathrein (Co-Applicant and Project Partner) is a University Assistant (tenure-track position) and expert in text modeling, digital editions, and archival science. Responsibilities within the PromptLab project: providing assistance and consultation on LLMs.
David Danninger, Rebecca Eberhart, Julia Hurmann: The student assistants are in charge of activities like acting as prompt tutors for students, layout and editing of OER materials, creation and co-hosting of the website, supporting dissemination activities, and assisting in the creation of learning videos.
